Seed propagated crops

A type of soil-less agriculture where the crops are grown in panels with their roots suspended in air is called aeroponics. The plants are enclosed in a spraying box to supply the plant roots with continuous or intermittent mists of saturated nutrient solutions.

The branch of agriculture that deals with the study of physical, biological and chemical properties along with the natural resources of the surrounding to have a better understanding of the environment where plants/crops are grown and animals are reared.

These crops are known as winter crops as they are sown in winter/fall and harvested in spring. The crop seeds are sown from October to December and harvested from April to June. For Example: wheat, garlic, peas, grams, chickpea, coriander.
