Definition
Bar Diagram
Bar diagram also known as bar graph or bar chart can be defined as graphical representation of grouped data, quantities or number using horizontal or vertical bars/strips of identical width but length is proportional to the measure of data.
Agriculture
A science and art that deals with the cultivation, management, production of plants and animals that are raised on soil for the benefit of humans.
Agriculture Biotechnology
The branch of agriculture that deals with the utilization of biology / biological systems along with engineering to solve problems and make, modify or improve products as well as organisms for agricultural upliftment.
Agriculture Economics
The applied science of agriculture that deals with the integration of economics into agriculture through every aspect such as production, productivity, marketing, resource optimization, statistics and consumption of produce for a balanced agricultural demand and supply.
Agrometeorology
The branch of agriculture that deals with the study of atmosphere and atmospheric phenomenon in regards to its effects and impact of agriculture can be known as agrometeorology.
Agronomy
A branch of agricultural sciences that deals with the study of production, management, utilization and improvement of plants for their use as fuel, food, forage and more is known as agronomy.
Animal Husbandry
The rearing of animals domestically for their produce such as: milk, meat, egg, wool and animal waste which contribute to the economic, religious or cultural aspects.
Annual Crops
The crops that germinate and produce their seeds, completing their life cycle within a year are known as annual crops. For Example: corn, wheat, rice, pea.
Arboriculture
The branch of agriculture that deals with the scientific study and operational practices of cultivating trees, shrubs and herbs is known as arboriculture.
Arithmetic Average
In statistics, Arithmetic average (Arithmetic mean) is simply the ratio of the sum of all observations to the total number of observations.
Aromatic Crops
The crops that are grown mainly for their aromatic properties and can be used in culinary for food flavoring along with production of perfumes and cosmetics. For example: Lavender, Basil, Rosemary, Jasmine, Vanilla, etc.
Base Period
In economics, base period (reference period) refers to the point in time used as a reference point or the basis for an index number, for comparison with other periods.
