The agricultural practices in which every aspect of agriculture such as land, labor, equipment and benefits are distributed equally among the community or group of people that are involved in the production process is called cooperative farming.

The agricultural practices conducted in city areas (urban and semi urban) to utilize empty spaces such as rooftops, balconies, backyards and other vacant spaces to grow or raise livestock such as poultry, swine or goats, mostly for home consumption is known as peri urban agriculture.

Those crops that complete their life cycle in two years, from germinating to producing their seeds and dying, are known as biennial crops. For Example: carrot, cauliflower, cabbage, parsley, onion.
