The crops that require more than two years to complete their life cycle are known as perennial crops. These crops flower and produce fruits and seeds multiple times during their life cycle. For Example: apple, mango, lychee, guava.

Those crops that are cultivated mainly for the production of edible/other useful oil. For example: perilla, sesame, sunflower, soybean, peanut.

The applied science of agriculture that deals with the integration of economics into agriculture through every aspect such as production, productivity, marketing, resource optimization, statistics and consumption of produce for a balanced agricultural demand and supply.
