Agrometeorology

The branch of agriculture that deals with the scientific study and operational practices of cultivating trees, shrubs and herbs is known as arboriculture.

Plants that are not affected by the duration or intensity of daylight or night time. DNP are also known as Photo insensitive plants.

These crops are known as winter crops as they are sown in winter/fall and harvested in spring. The crop seeds are sown from October to December and harvested from April to June. For Example: wheat, garlic, peas, grams, chickpea, coriander.
